Brother bought a new computer with MS Office for Students ... can I use on my computer?

I know that if you buy a retail version of MS Office for students and teachers (at least the 2003 version) the box said you could use it on 3 computers. My brother just bought a new Dell and he purchased Office 2007 for Students & Teachers from Dell. It's preloaded on his computer, but he has a disk as well. We are both students in college, so I was wondering if I could install this product on my PC, or if I need to purchase another copy.
