My brother has PDDNOS(Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified)

This past year he starts talking back to my mom for stupid reasons. then he suddenly yells and starts talking about running away or he just doesn't even want to talk to us. He will "threaten us" but he never does anything. The next day, its like nothing happened. Is this normal since he's 15 and hormones are delayed or is this part of this PDDNOS thing?

Seriously I think he needs counceling or anger management.

  1. To whom is concerned, compassion, compassion, compassion, please, the male mentate naturally inter-connects to the mother mentate, vice versa, there is something, he doesn't understand. Autists see numbers as colour, hear from great distances, read it, its a great book, I can't remember the title "Something from beyond", the from beyond part is right,  my niece works with autism, I have autist traits, the world is violent, he's empathing, empathing is painful, does he also experience the tourrette syndrome, how many r's, does he experience dementia,  he may need professional help, there is a big debate in Canada over helping autists over the age of 5, are they in for a battle. Health care is provided by the government, its only fair as they implemented income tax after the first world war, for the war torn world, back then people initially thought, its better than paying the other price...( finding something he likes is the key to his search for truth / happiness, longevity)

    L'amitie, Gilles(xxxooo)...

  2. Yes counselling would really help.  My son has Aspergers and is 14.  Put together the testosterone and the fact that these kids have emotions that they just don't know how to deal with and it gets rather explosive.

Your brother gets a  little angry but he doesn't know how to deal with the emotion once it shows up and it tends to go over the edge.  I'll bet he does the same with happy emotions as well as sad ones.

My son is either REALLY happy, REALLY sad, REALLY angry or almost emotionless.    When something makes us chuckle, he's laughing like it's absolutely hysterical.

If your parents do opt for counselling you have to find one that knows how to deal with autism though since most counsellors ask questions like "how do you feel" and these kids aren't usually able to answer questions like that.
