Brothers fish. Help he aggricatin me about it?

Okay so when my brother first got his fish he was a pretty sky blue color. its a beta male fish by the way. but he's had him for maybe about 4 months or less.. n now his color is kinda fading and around his face it looks like his scales felll off or something its white. i dont know whats wrong with it? he keeps askin me to post it up on here! so i did! lol so if yall can help HELP! :D

Well, as he matures, he could be changing his appearance, or he could be scraping himself against objects in the tank, if you see him doing this, remove the objects. Otherwise if he is not lethargic, or sick, he should be fine.

It sounds like he is maturing. Mine changed color around the face once they got older. Maybe thats what it is.

They also have betta food that is supposed to enhance their color.  You might try something like that.
