Brothers who play for the same club in the EPL

Gary and Steven Caldwell become the newest inclusion in the long list of brothers who have featured in the same club for some period of time.
Both the players now play for Roberto Martinez in Wigan Athletic as the manager moved for Steven Caldwell only days after making his brother Gary the club captain. There is however, still time before these brothers play together on the field, as the club captain is currently recovering from a hip injury.
Back in 2007, Manchester United signed twin brothers Rafael and Fabio Da Silva and these players are likely to become part of United’s starting XI in the future. Both the Brazilians have a similar style of play but play on the left back and right back positions. Fabio’s place as left back has been overshadowed by French Captain Patrice Evra and thus has made scarce appearances for the Red Devils. His brother, Rafael, however has made a huge impact on the first team and competes with the likes of Gary Neville and John O’Shea for the right back position. His performances for the Manchester based club earned him his first ever cap for Brazilian national team in a friendly against USA last month.
Manchester United had one more pair of brothers in the past as Gary and Phil Neville climbed through the youth academy at Old Trafford. Together, the brothers have won six premier league medals, one Champions league and three FA Cups before Phil left United to join Everton in 2005.
Moving on, Kolo Toure moved to Manchester City in 2009 after a decent career with premier league giants Arsenal. The player had a good season at the Eastlands and was very happy with his new employers. This led the player to convince his younger brother Yaya Toure, who was playing in Barcelona, to join the high spending club. A deal was struck between the two clubs and the brothers were reunited at Manchester City this season. In acquiring the services of the younger brother, City spent a fortune. He agreed after a deal worth56 million pounds over 4 years.  The pair now features together in a bid to win more trophies for the squad this season.
Manchester City also had another pair of brothers in the past. Shaun and Bradley Wright-Phillips were part of the Manchester City team in the 2004/05 season before Shaun left the club for better career at Chelsea. The winger had one of the best seasons at Chelsea, scoring 10 goals in the same season. Bradley, on the other hand, couldn’t match his half brother’s spoils, making only 14 appearances, all of them off the bench.
Luke and Stefan Moore spent two successful seasons with Aston Villa, following their impressive performances in the youth academy. The brothers were phenomenal in the club’s FA Youth cup victory, but couldn’t keep the same form at the senior level. Luke Moore now plays in the newly promoted premier league side at West Bromwich Albion while his brother Stephan features for Halesowen.
Rod and Ray Wallace featured for Leeds United in the first two premier league seasons. While Rod featured regularly in the first team for Leeds, Ray only managed 7 appearances in two seasons for the club. Their third brother, Danny, who was 5 years younger, played for arch rivals Manchester United, making only 2 appearances.
Other siblings who have played for the same club but at different time periods include Rio and Anton Ferdinand, who played for West Ham United, Justin and Gavin Hoyte, who featured for Arsenal while Lomana and Kazenga LuaLua who appeared for Newcastle United.
