Brought A50 back from Germany. Get error message "Geraet gesperrt--Subset Code". Will it work in Germany?

The Siemens A50 is a about five year old cell phone, so I guess you bought it as a used one. If you are from the U.S. dump it, because it is a dual-band phone which won't work anyhow where you live.

Sounds like somehow, the wrong code (not the PIN of the sim card, but the actual phone's code) was entered wrong three times. Did you buy it used by any chance?

Normally, there's another code in the documents you get when you buy the phone that lets you reset it.

Btw, "Geraet gesperrt" means "Device blocked."
