Brown Discharge week after period?

My sister finished her period a week ago and she's still getting brown discharge. Can anyone give me suggestions of what it could be? Is it normal?

How old is your sister?  If she is young and has just started having her period I would think it's normal as your periods are irregular the first few years.  If she is on birth control the pill could be causing the spotting because of all the hormones in the pill.  

If she is that concerned she should see her doctor.  That's the best advice.
