Brown spider, brown/black/white striped legs, white circle with black dot in the middle on belly, orb web.?

Question

This spider is hanging out side my window, smart comes back every nite. Doesn't like to deal with humans but he is big and not to be trusted. Any one know what he is? I am in New Jersey.

You don't need to worry about him. It sounds like an Orb Weaver - probably a Marbled Orb Weaver. They aren't aggressive, and even if you got bitten, it wouldn't do much harm unless you were allergic to it.

Orb Weavers vary a lot in colour and shape, but they all look generally similar.
