With mirrors in the bathroom. You somtimes get brown spots appearing behind the mirror that seems impossible to get rid of !! In fact, they seem to increase in numbers with time.

What causes the brown spots to appear???

How do you stop the spread???

Better yet,Is there a way to get rid of existing spots behind the mirror that is mounted on wall

  1. That's the mirror material flaking off. Not much you can do about it except replace the mirror.

Fortunately, mirrors aren't that expensive - call a glass guy and they can make new ones to order.

  2. First of all, don't freak out! That's just dirt and dust collecting =P

All you have to do is unmount the mirror and clean the back of it and the backboard!
