Question:

Brown spots on Marigolds?

Taking care of my dad's garden. Some of the marigolds have died, others are in the process of dying. The ones that are dying seem to have some brownish splotches on the leaves.

It seems to be confined to some white marigolds. The other marigolds (orange ones and yellow ones) are unaffected.

What's happening here? Anything I can do to save them? Will it spread to the other marigolds?

  1. marigolds are susceptible to mold, and rust spots.  Try to water the ground, not the leaves.  Use a fungicide to get rid of the damage.
