Who do you think will win? My bet is on Adam Conney(western bulldogs) or Simon Black(brisbane).

  1. The order:

    J Bartel 31

    G Ablett 29

    A Cooney 23

    M Richardson 22

    A Mackie}

    S Black   }21

    J Corey   }

    C Judd 20

Cats with a record 118 out of a possible 132 votes.

  2. Im going to say

    Brent Harvey

  3. Ablett(yes i know, ho hum)  only if he doesn't miss too many more he would have to have 25-27 now, if he misses another 2-3, I'd start to worry.

Brent Harvey from North is a real chance too, umps love him.

My dark horse, cause i love the bloke, plus i backed him at $21.50 to win and $6.50 a place is Richo,  he had another great game last night, will get votes for sure, 17 marks, 3 last quarter goals, the umps always give him votes too. I don't really think he'll win it but stranger things have happened, Richo would have to have 16-18 votes, i have watched every game h has played this year, he will poll well with Richmond winning a few too.

  4. Go Adam Cooney. Aker should be up there further though.

  5. I reckon D. COX will poll a lot of votes, he has been outstanding in a terrible team could be a dark horse at odds, but my money is on young Gazza, it would be ironic if he wins and his old man, whom I consider the greatest of all time was never a real vote catcher

  6. Santa Monica, Del Rio, Harmonica, what's his name?

  7. Outside the obvious - G. Ablett Jr

Porplyzia will be a dark horse. Playing with a dislocated should will attract attention from opposition players as well as the umpire.

Michell (Hawks) will be another to look at for but he suspended earlier this year.

Bock is a contender as well.

  8. Being a north fan i think harvey will win it. He's done well in the past and should do well again this year. Dark horse, im thinking joel corey actually.

  9. Well I need Ablett for $6111 (from a $3 bet placed in december last year), or Harvey for $8000 (also from $3 bet placed at some stage.

So I'm hoping Ablett gets his butt back on the field.   I'm not worried too much about Bartel, although getting nervous. Cooney polled a lot early but has dropped right off, I have him on 14-16 points at the moment.  I have harvey on about 16-17 and Ablett on 20 at present.   I haven't calculated Bartel yet, but I am thinking of speccing Richo.  I won't invest on bartel as worst case I can back him on the day to be top Geelong voter at $2.30 or something and hope Harvey wins....

So whilst I'd like Ablett or Harvey, I know the punting gods will s***w me...

  10. All I know is the engraver put Gary Ablett's name on it after Round 3!

  11. Ablett

    Cooney

    Harvey

    outsider

    Thompson (adel)

  12. Ablett or Cooney. The only thing that is hard for Ablett is the fact that he plays in a team where so many other players take votes off him because they all play great games week in and out.

  13. I think Ablett has it in the bag already. I'm hoping Adam Cooney will get it being a dogs supporter though.

  14. can't go past Gary Ablett. Not only is he on career best form but the umpires love him

  15. every geelong player shall tie first

  16. i would think g ablett would be up there..

along with bartel and other geelong players.. (they win everything dont they??)

but i would love 2 see simon black or luke power get up there and win it..

i think adam cooney will be like ablett last year in that every1 was talkin bout him but he only started polling in the last part of the season...

only cooney will poll 4 the start and stop polling when aka stood up... (he should still be at brisbane: TRAITOR!)

i also think joel selwood will poll well.. wont win it but if he continues the way hes goin he could win it next year.. maybe

  17. Gary Ablett jnr or Jimmy Bartel both absolute legends! :D
