Browns’ wide receiver Josh Cribbs fed up to see team lose – NFL News
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Cribbs said that he had become frustrated of continuing to be on the losing side despite his good performance, adding that he wanted to see the Browns winning.
In his remarks the player was specifically referring to his tiredness of hearing the repeated talks of rebuilding processes of the Browns over past few years.
"I am fed up. I want to win this year," Cribbs told The Plain Dealer. "Everybody says 'we're building, we look good.' I don't really care about the building process, because I want to win now. I'm not worried about next year, next
year. I want to win now. So, that's how I feel."
He apparently looked unhappy the way he is being used by the Cleveland Browns and when this question was posed to him, he said: "Uh ... I just won't answer that."
He added that he did not want to say anything that sounded selfish to him, saying all he cared about was winning.
The Browns had been carrying a multiple re-building process under which the level of Cribbs game and performance was up. His team however continues to lose in American Football Conference (AFC) north division.
Josh Cribbs, who is in his seventh consecutive season, said that it was getting harder and harsher for him to see his team losing each year. He was especially more concerned about the Browns’ inability to making it to even playoff
season.
"I feel like I want to see a playoff, you know, as bad as our fans do. I feel like a fan sometimes when I speak because I hear them talk every day, I run into them on the street."
The player said that it was his ultimate motivation to win for the Cleveland Browns and he felt hurt not to have achieved that.
He said that he had always set hopes that they would win, and to make his hopes fulfilled he gives everything he got when goes on the field. He added that it was high time for his side to stage a must win. He however remained short
of making a remark on if he foresees the Browns’ chances to achieve that.
