Browsing People on Myspace?

Question

I was on Myspace only minutes ago, i was browsing people, when i noticed that the age cannot go bellow 18, now i am not a pediphille, i am 16, and hence, most people i would serch for (people that go to my school who i didnt know had myspace) are under the age of 18, and i am simply curious why.

u cant browse any thats under 16

They probably have new policies to protect minors.
