Ey people ! I started going to gym + boxing like month ago. I dont wanna be a pro boxer, am just doing it coz i like fighting and i prefer hitting a sand bag over some one lol. So my hands got bruises and i wanted to ask if it's gonna be all the time like this ? And do you do anything to hide them or smthin ? It doesnt bother me THAT much, but yea sometimes it does look scary lol and also pain sometimes is botherin, when for xmple : i cant get things out of my pocket...

Ooo and also, people, are there any disadvantages of boxing ? I dont mean real fights - when the noses get broken and the ears biten :D Just practising...

  1.  If your hands hurt when u are putting them into your pockets, u may in fact have broken knuckles.  You should go get your hands x-rayed and definitely lay off of the heavy bag for a while, like a couple months.  Work your cardio and shadow boxing until your hands heal.  Get better gloves and learn how to wrap your hands so that they are protected.  Also, remember during your heavy bag workouts that power thrills but speed kills, in other words don't hit quite so hard, refine your technique.
