  1. Some people have fragile blood vessels. Even while they sleep they can injure themselves and a bruise occurs. Bruises are bleeding under the skin.

Have you gotten checked for anemia?  Talk to your doctor and get a blood test.

  2. Yes - iron and vitamin c deficiency, and anemia - your body got use to the prenatal vitamins you are most likely not taking any more.  Picking up and holding baby in all different positions may be causing the bruising too, I remember trying to "multi task" with babe in arms...then trying to do same with babe on lap. If a multi vitamin doesn't seem to help, consult with Dr either ob/gyn or even the baby's pediatrician...

  3. increase your iron and vitamin C consumption. Spontaneous bruising can be a symptom/sign of iron deficiency anemia. If the bruising doesn't promptly resolve after you start your vitamins, go see your doctor

  4. You might be low in iron like others have said.  Or you could have blood that is too thin.  Or you could also be so busy with your daughter that you don't notice when you bang your body on objects.  Sometimes we become so wrapped up in our children that we pay little attention to what is happening to ourselves (especially when you have a young baby).  I would call my doctor if I were you and have a blood test to check for possible problems.   Likely it is an easy fix if it is something with medicines or vitamins.  Good luck
