Brumbies make four changes for their home clash against the Western Force
Brumbies to make four changes for their upcoming clash against the Western Force on Sunday. Large number of injuries has forced the selectors to make these changes for their home game.
Their players liked Huia Edmonds and winger Henry Speight has been suffering from various injuries. One of the stars Ashley-Cooper is already of the side since the last victory against the Hurricanes.
Henry Speight has been sidelined due to his ankle injury whereas the hooker Huia Edmonds for the hamstring. The recent injuries have added worries for the coach Tony Rea and youngsters will be included in the side to face the rivals Force.
Anthony Hegarty is likely to make his Super Rugby debut replacing Huia Edmonds. Dan Palmer is making his comeback in to the side after missing couple off matches in the ongoing Super Rugby championship. He will replace the prop Salesi Ma'afu who has been
restricted to the bench after consecutive bad performance in the tournament.
Pat McCabe will be available for the Brumbies who played initial four games of the Super Rugby and was injured with hamstring later on. He was the most effective player of his side during those four games, he will take the place of Henry Speight.
Earlier on the Brumbies have promised its supporters to display better performance against the Western Force as they are having poor season currently. They have won just two matches after seven rounds. They are currently placed at overall 10th position on
the point’s tables whereas fourth among the Australian teams. They won their last match against the Hurricanes after four consecutive defeats.
The skipper Matt Giteau looked very confident after winning against the Hurricanes and hoped that team would continue the same performance. He said that his side would play aggressively in the next match.
However, their scrum coach Marco Caputo was disappointed with the ongoing injuries. The Brumbies have been struck badly by the injuries in this season as they have already lost Rocky Elsom of hamstring, Stephen Moore with ankle injury, Mitchell Chapman cheekbone
and Stephen Hoiles has been suffering from Achilles.
