Brumbies to announce new coach during this week – Rugby UpdateThe Brumbies are expected to announce their new coach for next two years by the end of this week.Tony Rea is currently committed with the unit since Andy Friend was removed from the duties after 2nd round of Super Rugby. The Brumbies are having poor season with just two victories after eight outgoings in the current Super Rugby championship. The Brumbies have been placed on 10th overall and 3rd among its Australian home teams on the points table. The poor performance has already excluded a coach from his office and they are looking forward to handover the team to some seasoned figure who could put it on winning track.Among many other names to overtake from Tony Rea after the end of Super Rugby season Jake White is considered to given the responsibilities. The current coach of the Brumbies was also short listed for the job but his performance could not attract the selectors. Tony Rea took the command of the side in the third round of continuing Super Rugby and Brumbies has won just one match since then.White Jake is quite capable of turning the failed unit in to a successful outfit as he has done it in the past. He was given the charge of the South African team in 2004 until the end of 2007 and he grabbed two big victories in that span. The Reeboks welcomed his coaching career with them by winning tri-nation series in 2004 and ended up by claiming the Rugby World Cup in 2007.If the task is given to Jake White he would be the first South African to coach an Australian derby. However, he has also been opposed by the Brumbies officials as team could face communication problems with the foreigner. The chief executive of the Brumbies penal Andrew Fagan confirmed that they will disclose the final name by the end this week. He said that many a men have been interviewed for the task but no one is yet agreed upon. He also claimed that the panel was almost at the end of process.
