Brunch Reception?

Question

I'm attending a wedding brunch in honor of a couple who had a destination wedding. It's this Sunday at noon. The reception is at a pretty fancy reception venue and I attended a night wedding there once before. So, it's pretty nice. I bought this dress to wear to a different event a few months ago, but I don't know if it's appropriate for a wedding.

Thoughts?

They do have wedding dresses now that are popular which look like that.  But since it's a destination wedding she's probably not going to be wearing something that formal to a post-wedding brunch reception.

Break it up with some colorful shoes and jewelry and you'll be fine.

I think there is enough of a pattern that even if the bride does wear white, you would not in any way infringe upon her day.  I think that is a great dress for this occasion.

I think that dress is beautiful and totally appropriate to wear to a wedding or a reception, especially this time of year.

That dress is really nice and just perfect for a brunch reception. Unless they asked for something specific in the invitation that dress is perfect!
