When you became blonde did you notice a difference in the way people act toward you?

Blondes who've gone brunette did you notice any difference?

*I'm not talking about your friends or family members, I mean I'm sure they all had some sort of reaction. What I mean is like when you were out in public, at a store or restaurant or doctor or whatever, did people who had never seen your hair before seem to treat you differently as a blonde (or a brunette if you started blonde)?

  1. People that I didn't know, treated me the same cause they didn't know that I was previously brunette. I dyed my from brunette to blonde to bring out my blue eyes. People don't really notice unless they are someone you know.

I got a lot more attention from people I knew though, because I loved the blonde...so I acted more confidently. Although when I would slip up, and say something stupid they would say, "so thats why you dyed your hair blonde." but that all comes with being a blonde I guess.

However, I did go back to brunette cause my eyebrows are naturally blackish, and I was tired of lightening them, and my roots were growing in. =] thats my brunette to blonde story. haha

  2. im a bruneete. i never died my hair blonde. i dont think i could. i just think that peple with dark hair dye blonde is ugly cuz the roots come in and all that stuff. i think blondes might get noticed more cuz of that bright *** haystack on thier heads but brunettes are deffinitly have a more defined beauty. and we look better in gold

  3. yea! i definitely got noticed more as a blonde but i was seen as more of a S****y girl and dumb but i'm back to brunette n ppl see me more like an innocent intelligent girl..

  4. I am a natural light blonde, and i went medium brunette.  I came back to school the next day, and i got a heck of a lot of dirty looks.

I had people telling me that i was a fake blonde, and wanted to go back to brunette.  I was always like "What the heck?! I just died my hair holy gosh"

    It was very very annoying.

  5. I use to have naturally medium blond hair and then in 10th grade I decided to dye it black. People were a little bit shocked in the beginning (because they were use to seeing me as a blond) but they didn't act different towards me. I've been a brunette ever since. lol.

  6. yeah well I'm now blonde again but I went dark for a while and it was kinda depressing :( I'm not an attention deprived or anything but I did notice that people didn't pay as much attention too me. Like when I went to the store I just kinda blended in and people didn't really look at me in a kind way.  I think I look better with blonde hair anyway so I went back like 2 months later. But people weren't as nice to me I noticed when I died it brunette. It made me angry. haha.

I didn't like my hair dark on me though it didn't go well with my eyes or skin tone. That's my expeirance :)
