The Stuttgart manager expressed his disappointment on his side’s 4-2 defeat to Hannover and has called for improvement.

Labbadia claimed that his side played a good game but the defending was poor. He insisted that the defending on set pieces was disappointing and admitted that the score-line would have been totally different if the back four performed
better.
The manager stated that the team has been very inconsistent in the past few games and claimed that the win against Hertha Berlin should have been the turning point of the season. He added that the team should have gone with the

“With set-pieces we were catastrophic. The disappointment is huge since we have thrown this game away. We showed that the win over Hertha Berlin had given us momentum, but then we messed things up on set-pieces,” he was quoted
as saying in an interview.
The tactician is hopeful that the team will make a strong comeback after the defeat and is targeting a top ten finish at the end of the season.
“It was still a game that is hard to explain and which we need to forget about quickly,” he concluded.
On the other hand, Stuttgart sporting director, Fredi Bobic, also expressed his frustration after the loss and admitted that his side deserved to lose after the performance against Hannover. He added that the team made too many
mistakes and were rightly punished.
“We had defended well in recent games, but we have forgotten it already. We have been brutally punished for our mistakes,” Bobic added.
