Bruno Senna feels positive about his future in Williams – Formula 1 news
Williams’ driver Bruno Senna has said that he is not worried about his future in the team as he believes he can continue if he keeps on delivering his best.
Senna performed quite convincingly during the Hungarian Grand Prix as he made his way to the final session of the qualifying for the first time in the season so far and secured 9th grid slot. Later, he improved his position during the race and
came 7th in the charts.
Afterwards, he said that they were able to score competitive points in the preceding race at Hungaroring Circuit in Budapest because they performed well during the qualifying. Moreover, he said that they are looking forward to keep up the same qualifying
pace in the approaching races.
“The only reason why we scored good points like this is because we qualified well, and we need to keep on doing it,” Senna said.
In addition, he said that every driver needs chances to prove his potential and to get the necessary learning experience to develop. He also said that he is focussing on finding the prospects to make improvements in his drive in the races ahead.
Besides, he said that the current season has been most difficult for him. Nonetheless, he said that he is preparing to come up stronger in the upcoming races so as to secure a reasonable position in this year’s championship.
“Everybody needs opportunities to grow up and this is mine. I need an opportunity to grow up and develop with the team. It's probably the hardest season in Formula 1 for who knows how many years. “In the races I think I'm doing pretty well this season. As
I said before, nailing qualifying will be the key to make sure I stay for next year and hopefully the next few years,” he added.
The Brazilian driver is presently standing at 15th place in the drivers’ championship with 24 points. Furthermore, he is ahead of Nico Hulkenberg of Force India and is behind Felipe Massa of Ferrari.
Let’s see how the nephew of legendary F1 driver, Ayrton Senna shows up in the forthcoming races after the ongoing summer break.
