  1. Moorie tips are the best tips on the market as far as I've ever played with.  You can't go wrong, way better then LePro and Triangle.  But its players choice I guess.

  2. As good as LePros? LePros are among the worst brands that are relatively acceptable to use (obviously s***w -on and Walmart tips are significantly worse). If you're looking for a good one piece tip, try Sumo.

I personally use Hercules layered tips. Almost all layered tips are superior to almost all one piece tips. They last longer and hold their shape much better. Moori's are very nice, but they're also the most expensive tip you're going to find (as much as $50 a pop installed). There are several options that are significantly less expensive than that, and I suggest you look into them.

  3. I've been using Moori Mediums for close to 20 years, a friend of mine just gave me some Talisman Mediums for x-mas, going to try them out, he says they're almost as good as the Moori, (and almost can be a very relative term) and about 1/3 to 1/2 the cost, putting one on for this weekend,  If the question is still open I'll report back.  As for LePro, I rank them about the same as ElkMaster, in saying that there's a reason that people give them away, a box of 50 is only about $20, I'm guessing that's what my buddy paid for the 3 Talisman's he gave me.  Considering I'm not playing as often as I used to I don't see a need to spend the $ moori costs, plus I'm not running all over the state for tourny's.  This will be my first tip change in a couple of years, I've kept swapping sticks that I carry instead of getting new tips on, so this will be welcome, I get to pull a couple of old favorites of mine out.
