Bruslini set to win the Wyvern Ices Novices´ Chase
Bruslini looks in good shape to win the Wyvern Ices Novices´ Chase at Hereford in England on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Only five runners will be seen in action in the class-4 race, which has a cash prize of £3,899.
Going is expected to be good in the race, which is scheduled to start at 4:40 GMT. The three mile, 1 furlong and 110 yard event will test the stamina of the runners, whose names are as follows: Bruslini, Earth Planet, Scotsbrook Cloud, Timmies Gone and Paddy
Whitelands.
The bookies believe that Bruslini has the best chances of winning the race today, thus they have given him pretty decent odds for victory. The punters will also have confidence in his abilities and they will be looking to place quite a few bets in his favour.
The seven-year-old gelding has entered just a couple of chase races in his career until now, winning one of them. He failed to make a big impression in the other one, but still has got very good rhythm at the moment.
Evan Williams’ trainee finished fifth in his most recent outing, which suggests that he is in good form. He was up against some quality runners that time around, thus failed to tackle with the pressure. However, he will be the most dominant compared to the
rest of the pack today.
Today’s favourite runner will be partnered by Tom O'Brien, who has won 127 chase races in his career until now. He has a good strike rate and will be confident of making a solid impression in the race.
There are also chances for Earth Planet to fight for victory in the race today. He does not have a good strike rate, but his experience might come in handy in the end.
The 10-year-old gelding has participated in 17 chase races until now, winning just one of them. In addition to that, he has managed to finish runner up on five occasions whereas took the third spot four times.
Paul Nicholls’ trainee has been in decent form over the past few months, thus the bettors will be interested in ricking some money in his favour.
The real competition appears to be between the top two favourites, as the rest of the pack will not find things easy at all.
