Question:

Brussels, Prague, or Amsterdam?

Looking to study abroad in one of these cities next year. Would love to hear pros and cons, about weather and public transportation. Anything to help me narrow down my decision- I love cities, nature, and nightlife. Not a big drinker or smoker. I only speak English but am willing to learn another language if the natives are patient with me! Or if any other European cities might be a better place for a college student.

  1. I suggest Amsterdam, because Holland is a nation of truly freedom, and the Dutch people are really nice and friendly, moreover, they can speak English really well, Amsterdam is a green city that you can proud of living there, cycling to school and enjoy it. Lovely!

  2. Because Prague was behind the Iron Curtain until the 90's it is the most authentic and the least Westernly commercial cities of the 3. It is still completely accommodating for your education and there is not as much Riff-raff! Good luck!

  3. well Czech is a hard language but i was told prague was beautiful, totally amazing place.  i doon't know about transportation there but it sounds awesome to me.

Amsterdam, well most people are real friendly over there, many speak english, you have many museum and interesting places, about the weather well it rains sometimes but when it's sunny its absolutely beautiful.. there's a good night life too !

for brussels, well i only been there once and it looked  grey to me.. the architecture and the weather. maybe it has a good night life but i don't know about the nature.

both belgium and netherlands are pretty flat areas so no hiking or things like that ( :(  ) but then it's to you to choose.. haha i'm hesitating between dublin, london and copenhaguen ( i hardly understand danish....) for next year...
