Bryan Ruiz hoping for a regular spot in the Fulham squad
Bryan Ruiz, the Fulham winger, revealed he was eager to prove his critics wrong and live up to the transfer fee the English Premier League side had paid to secure his services in the summer transfer window. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Costa-Rica-c2877 international arrived at Craven

Ruiz has so far made three appearances for Fulham, coming off the bench against West Bromwich Albion last weekend. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Costa-c9458 Rican had a fantastic opportunity to score his debut goal for Fulham, but failed to do so as he missed the goal by inches. His failure
to score for Fulham has not settled too well with the club’s manager Martin Jol.
Even though Jol was without influential players like Bobby http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zamora-c40983 and Andy Johnson, Jol did not prefer to start with Ruiz. However, Ruis is not too concerned and is certain he will be able to secure a place in the first team soon. The winger c*m second striker
is still adjusting to the Premier League, after which he was sure he would do well for Fulham.
Ruiz said while speaking to reporters:
“Everyone who knows me, knows that I want to play. I'm working hard in training to get my rhythm and hopefully I'll play some more in the next match.”
He continued:
“I'm not really feeling the pressure. I'm just going to do my best and show my quality. I hope people will see me at my best very soon.”
The Fulham winger revealed he was looking forward to featuring for Fulham in their upcoming fixture, having done well against Chelsea in the Carling Cup. Ruiz played the full 120 minutes in the mid-week match, which the Cottagers lost 4-3 on penalties. It
is not yet certain whether Ruiz will be selected to start in the Europa League fixture against OB Odense.
Ruiz revealed:
“I feel fit. I know I can play 90 minutes in the Premier League. I played for 120 minutes against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and that has helped me. If I play more matches, I will get more confidence from that.”
