Bryan Ruiz looking to end 2011 on a high with Fulham
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Costa-c9458 Rican international and Fulham attacker, Bryan Ruiz has admitted that he wants to see Fulham beat Norwich in the Premier League this coming Saturday, as he looks to end the 2011 on a high.
Fulham have been having a decent run in the Premier League this current season. The team has been producing some good results in recent weeks and they even went on to draw with Chelsea on Boxing Day.
However, the team is looking to build on that form and end the year with a win against Norwich, in hopes of entering the new year on a high.
Ruiz, when talking about Fulham and their form in recent weeks is quoted to have said: “It was a great result on Monday against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and we played well which was good for us after the match against Manchester United last week”
“Chelsea are a very good team and they were playing at home on Boxing Day. They needed the points as well so it was a great result for us. We defended well and attacked when we could.”
The player then went on to turn his attention to Norwich and is hoping Fulham can use their Premier League experience and form to overcome the newly promoted team.
The forward ended by adding: “We’re expecting a tough game against Norwich on Saturday and they are very close to us in the League – if we win we can pass them but it’s going to be tough. My wish for the New Year is to end this one with a win against Norwich!"
Ruiz went on to join Fulham on the deadline day of the summer transfer window. The player cost the team a fee of around ten and a half million pounds and so far, the player has been living up to the price that Fulham paid for him.
Ruiz has managed to score two goals in the fourteen Premier League appearances that he made for the team, but with him finally learning how to play in the Premier League, he is bound to find the back of the net on a number of occasions in the future.
