Bryan brothers win again, doubles action intensifies
Fresh off their record breaking 62nd tournament title last Sunday, The Bryan brothers claimed yet another victory, beating out Michael Shabaz and Andrew Courtney with a final tally of 7-6(6), 6-4 at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington.  Courtney and Shabaz were wild cards at the tournament.
The 32-year-old Bryan brothers, who are twins, have previously won the ATP World Tour 500 tournament on three occasions.  They beat fellow doubles rivals Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde last Sunday in Los Angeles to claim their 62nd tournament victory.  They were previously tied with Woodforde and Woodbridge at 61 title wins on the ATP tour.
The twins meet Obama
The Bryan brothers, along with fellow American Sam Querrey, had the chance to meet with President Obama on Tuesday. The brothers had committed to promoting the "Let’s Move!" initiative at the White House, a national movement spearheaded by First Lady Michelle Obama.
Bryan bros head Legg Mason doubles action
The Bryan brothers are seeded at number two for the Legg Mason Classic, and are set to meet with Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi in their next round match.  Bopanna and Qureshi have just come off a victory, beating out Martin Damm and Oliver Marach with a final tally of 7-5, 4-6, 10-3.
Aspelin and Hanley into next round
Doubles action continued in full force at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic with Simon Aspelin of Sweden and Paul Hanley of Australia beating out Polish duo Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski. The Poles were defeated 6-4, 7-6(1), despite being seeded at number three in the tournament.  They had been runners up at the Legg Mason last year.
Earlier on in the season, Aspelin and Hanley claimed the tournament title in Dubai this past February, defeating Dlouhy and Paes to go on to the finals in Rotterdam, albeit losing to the Nestor-Zimonjic duo. Following impressive results from the start of the season, Aspelin and Hanley currently hold the number six spot in the 2010 ATP Doubles Team Rankings.
The American and Swedish doubles team were recently defeated in the opening round at Gstaad, but were able to come back with a commanding showing against Fyrstenberg and Matkowski, creating four break opportunities, and capitalizing on each one. The Polish team was unable to break the Swedish-American duo, who took a considerable lead, letting go of just 11 service points throughout the match. Aspelin and Hanley came away with a victory in a match that lasted one hour and 31 minutes.
