I have spent all last night with the friendly assistance people which was nice but not resolved my issue!!

I am hoping someone here may be able to help or have a solution for my problem.

I received my new Hub yesterday it is the Homehub 2 the newer black one.

I set it all up but wireless and phone wouldn't work, everything is set up fine and it connects to hub but hub not connecting to internet.

So I tried ethernet and it all works fine if the ethernet is plugged in!!? even though I am connecting wirelessly it needs to have the ethernet plugged into the PC!

If i unplug ethernet. wireless, Phone and BT Vision don't work

  1. We had this problem and we had to make sure the old installation was uninstalled  as it was conflicting and was continually trying to find that instead of the new version

  2. Unplug the ethernet cable, right click on the network icon on the taskbar > connect to a network > highlight BT > connect > enter the wep key which you will find on the back of the hub called SSID Wireless Settings

  3. We still have the white hub, but make sure your connected to your hub via connections. make sure your wireless is switched on. i'm guessing you have your filters in right!? after all that restart your computer and try again
