Bt digital phone crackles!!!!!?

hi i have a problem .My new phone crackles .I have broadband .can anyone advise me as what to do.My old phone never did this .!

Yes we had a problem with our digital dec phones crackling because of the wireless broadband router.

We got a new ADSL filter and it fixed it

Add a filter to the line after it gets splitted from the Hub ,

because this crackling and static is only because of the Dsl added to the lien with out a filter.

This sounds like a DSL filter problem you need to have a filter on EVERY connection (remember things like SKY boxes) this should do the trick. If however you have all of them plugged into a filter then my guess is you will have 1 filter that's faulty, to find out what one you need to unplug them one at a time.

If after all of this you still have a problem try a "normal" corded handset in the main socket, if this still has a problem it's time call your service provider and report a fault.
