  1. You first need to register for a VOIP(internet calls) number if you have not already done so. My friend has plugged his home phone in so it is possible but I cannot tell you how. Give BT a call and speak to the helpdesk, I have spoke to them before and they are very helpful.

  2. Hello, the telephone socket on the back of the home hub will allow you to connect a handset into it, you will also be able to make voip calls if you have chosen to have this offering. You can also have BT Fusion, a mobile phone that works as a mobile phone when your "out and about" and as a cordless handset when your home.

From the VoiP side of things you can select to have a new voip number or have this linked to you existing number the choice is yours.

    Hope this helps?
