Bt new connection 12 month contract (talk talk)?

I have moved house and need a landline we would like talk talk but we need to get a line connected through bt first if we pay the 126 pound connection fee can we switch straight over to talktalk or will i be on a 12 month contract and cant switch providers .if i still pay £10.50 line rental to bt can i go with who i want ??

As you say you will have to pay BT for the line connection, and they will put you on a contract.

If you want to switch you will still have to pay BT until the contract end date.

You say you want to go to talk talk, well I have a much better service provider, that Talk talk actually copied 6 months after my provider brought out a new option. I have heard so many people complain about talk talk.

You will be charge the 12 month min term, however if you pay the £10.50 then you can go with any provider you want to. Thant said having used talk talk, I am now back with BT.

You will be on a 12 month contract but they may not hold you to it. They mention it in their sorry to use you letter but may not follow it up. In theory they can make you keep paying the £10.50 but cancel your DD and see what happens.

Even if they do make you pay it is a small price to pay. Free all day calls, Broadband and the most popular Int calls for free.
