  1. We have BT Vision set up in an outbuilding that my son uses as a "games room".

It is set up with a normal TV arial and through a Samsung HDTV.

    It works very well

  2. They claim it will be but you will still need an HD box.

  3. If you mean will Vision work with an HD ready or Full HD TV, then the answer's yes. If you mean will the BT vision box be able to receive HD signals, whilst there are currently no HD terrestrial programmes transmitted in the UK(except possibly for a trial in London, I believe), the BT vision box is set  to be able to decode and display them and would receive a firmware update in order to do so, as and when transission starts. This wouldn't be until after the digital switchover though, as the bandwidth required needs to be made available by ceasing the current analogue transmissions. The BT vision box does have an HDMI output which gives a markedly improved picture even with SD transmissions- this is what I use at the moment.  Though make sure the cable is HDMI v1.3 compliant or it will not work. And as good quality as you can afford. Contrary to what some might say, it does make a huge difference. As for the aerial, If you are in a strong signal area and your current aerial gives a good picture with analogue(regular) terrestrial TV, chances are it will work fine with digital. Otherwise you could be looking at  ÃƒÂ‚£100-£150 for a new one to be fitted.
