  1. It isn't finished it will probably be another year. It is not the same skytrain as the BTS but another line and goes from the airport all the way to Almost to Siam Square but it is not the same line it run in alongside to the BTS

  2. it not completed yet , every time I pass by I still can see there some work going on.

  3. I don't have a link for you, but I do know that the BTS portion of the route you are asking about will be complete in the first quarter of 2010.

If you go to On Nut you will see that the work there is very far along, but will not be ready before June of next year, and the further out you go the more work there is to be done yet.

I have an apartment on that end of Sukumvit (that I rarely get to these days) but all the info I have gotten from the locals suggest 1st Q of 2010.

  4. Not yet.

  5. The BTS (Skytrain) On Nut extension has not been completed, nor has the Suvarnabhumi rail link which are actually two different projects to be run by two different agencies. The airport rail link will be run by the SRT (State Railways of Thailand) and will connect with the MRT (subway) and BTS, it's expected to be completed sometime in mid-2009 and then will undergo testing before hopefully opening sometime toward the end of 2009. The BTS On Nut extension that will extend the On Nut line past Bangna to Bearing is scheduled to open sometime in 2010, this line will go out towards the airport but will not go to the airport, there is also a BTS extension of the Silom line across the river into Thonburi that is also scheduled to open sometime in 2009. I guess it really doesn't matter whether it's the BTS, MRT or SRT, no new lines will open until at least sometime towards the end of next year, at the earliest.
