Bua Kilross’ hopes for Sunderland’s William Hill - The Home Of Betting Stakes remain high
Despite an unlucky loss last time, Bua Kilross’ chances remain bright in William Hill - The Home Of Betting Stakes, a 450 metres Grade A3 contest, taking place at Sunderland on Tuesday, October 2nd.
Bua Kilross showed a lot of class in the middle of September. After finishing at bottom of the table at the start of last month, his confidence was at a low. Yet, P. Miller’s dashing charge quickly got his act together to clinch two back-to-back triumphs.
After stealing the show by a short head’s distance, the black and white hound further raised his game to unleash a special performance. After leaving the sixth trap, he ran flawlessly, and won the race by one and a half lengths. His finishing time was 27.94
seconds.
Although the son of Droopys Kewell lost his rhythm after a couple of great strikes, no one take the credit away from him. Bua Kilross has a very good record from the sixth trap, and one can expect him to return to his best today.
Other hounds in the meeting are: Pippa Cupid, Grandpa Steve, Mapperley Park, Curryhills Dropy and Crosswired. The punters hardly have any time to make their moves, as the action is about to begin. As per the plan, the officials will kick off the proceedings
at 18:18 GMT. The winner will receive a cash prize worth £123.
Mapperley Park is not in the best of form these days. Despite a favourable draw, we don’t expect the b***h to do well. Grandpa Steve could represent longshot value on the exchanges. The black dog, trained by S. Linley, has been producing consistent results
over the past few weeks. On his latest outing, he covered 450 metres in 28.55 seconds.
Curryhills Dropy usually does not take an early lead, and may struggle today. Crosswired is not the slickest into stride. On the other hand, Pippa Cupid is in super-duper form, and her claims look fairly obvious. Winning two of previous four shows how good
rhythm she is in.
According to our calculations, Pippa Cupid and Bua Kilross will battle hard for the first spot. The draw is in favour of the latter, who should be preferred.
