Do/did you sterilize your baby's bottles, teethers, and pacifiers?

Wy or why not?

How long did you do it for?

What do you think of parents who do not sterilize their baby's bottles, teethers, and pacifiers?/ How about ones who do?

  1. Stop trying to direct people to another website. This is all it says:

"You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons."

I am not signing up to a website in order to join this debate.

Anyway to answer your question, I sterilize everything when I first buy them, boil it for 5 Min's. After that whenever they are dirty they get run through the dishwasher.

  2. I sterilize the bottles after every feeding, my son is 4 1/2 months old. He also goes to daycare so that's another reason why i do it, but i think i would anyways...i haved used a few unsterilized before, but not until recently.

Sterilized pacifiers a few times, but only when he had colds. Other than that i just wash them...don't plan on sterilizing teethers.

I'm not sure why some people don't sterilize?? Especially under 6 months, i think by then i might stop!

  3. I sterilize then when I buy them (for the first time) and then wash them in very hot and soapy water after that.  There is no need to sterilize the bottles after every feeding.  I really dont think anything of the people that decide to do it differently, to each their own, as long as they are doing it properly, neither way is incorrect.
