Bubble like void but where is it ending?

where does the whole picture of universe ending or is it ending in somebodys brain, like nobody no how exactly the brain is working, or our universe is in somebodys brain ?

  1. I was with you until you got to the part about the universe being in somebody's brain.  There is no reason to believe it is a part of anything else.  The universe, by definition, is all that ever was or ever will be.

    I've heard some people using the term "bubble" to describe the universe.  I think all attempts to describe it in tangiblle terms are futile.  They're probably not right, either.  No one can perceive or describe the universe in a way that it can be reasonably pictured.  Anything you can picture or imagine, isn't the universe because we are incapable of picturing things that cannot be contained within or compared to something else.  Our brains don't work that way.  We can make analogies, but they don't enable us to actually picture the universe.

    The universe doesn't have an end.  It probably isn't infinite, either.  That doesn't seem to make sense, but the universe is believed to be finite but unbounded.  It has no end, but it doesn't go on forever.  Like I said, we can't picture it.
