  1. Look in the phone book for carpet cleaner supply.  Buy Gum release.  It is a solvent. Use it carefully. Use a  syringe and apply it below the gum.  Use a butter knife carefully and start working the edge of the gym. Add a little more solvent till the gum releases.   DO NOT OVER USE THE SOLVENT it can release the glue in the backing of your carpet.

  2. Freeze with an Ice Cube then remove residue with a dull edge knife to remove the sticky use some Goo Gone brand adhesive remover by dabbing with a cloth on the bubblegum area until removed or you can remove with some undiluted White Vinegar in the same manner as Goo Gone, vinegar will be less expensive than Goo Gone and a lot safer for the carpet fibers Good Luck !

  3. peanut butter or put ice cubes on it to freeze it then pick it off (with gloves on!!!)

  4. You can buy a product called 'Goo Remover' from the supermarket!

  5. wd-40

  6. smear the stain with peanut butter, then with a damp cloth wipe inwards.

the peanut butter will pick up the gum and the damp cloth will pick up the peanut butter.

it is best if you get a no sugar added peanut butter as any residual sugars left in he rug may attract bugs.
