Bubbly Ebony all set for the Coral On TV Stayers Trophy – Heat 3
Making the third heat of the Coral On TV Stayers Trophy challenging and competitive are Adageo Brae, Lenson Ginger, Bubbly Ebony, Rio Ravel, Rebellious Mary and Hiding Escort. The 575 metres flat race will be hosted by Romford on Monday, 19th November.
The total prize decided for the race is £150. All have set their distinctive style when racing at the open level. The third trap for tonight, Bubbly Ebony, is known for being dominant once he gets the chance to form a monopoly over the terms of the race early on.
Four out of the last six attempts at the similar level have resulted in wins.
4th October, 2012 saw the two-year-old breaking from the red box, and navigating through the track distance in a manner that he set himself at a safe distance from the rest of the lot. Retaining the leading role throughout the track distance had him clocking the 550 metres in 33.50 seconds.
Two lengths cost Westmead Apollo the race.
The Paul Young trained struck three races in a row when he won the second semi final of the Gold Cup on 18th October, 2012 T Henlow over 550 metres. The evening’s favourite, dressed in the blue jacket, sped up and soon took up the task of leading the race. It took the most popular entry 33.66 seconds win the race and that too coupled with the margin of 1 ¾ lengths.
The next two outings, one at Henlow and the other at Romford witnessed a sheer lack of conviction and confidence in Honcho Classic’s two-year-old black dog. He ended fifth and then sixth, but then without any training session or drilling, the black hound was able to secure success in the very next race.
The two-year-old out of, Capel Ebony, bagged the winner’s prize money in the John Davidson & Colin Wilson Memorial Trophy on 17th November, 2012 at Crayford over 540 metres.
Racing out of the trap next to the red box, Bubbly Ebony broke into a high gear and set into a leading pace soon enough. Even though the two-year-old got crowded, he did not take long to break free and seal the fate of the race in 34.24 seconds.
