Bubbly Ebony to break out for hat trick in the Heat 4 at Sheffield on 27th March
Sheffield is to become home for the Grade OR Heat 4 that will be raced over 480 metres flat on Tuesday, 27th March. Contesting for the £200 tonight are Rockburst Pearl, Glenbane Mile, Welton Arthur, Bubbly Ebony, Head Iton Tom and Seek The Cash.
The strongest contender among the lineup that is ready to race tonight is Bubbly Ebony, Honcho Classic’s two-year-old black son out of b***h Capel Ebony. Taking the races that he ran during and after February, he has won four times out of the seven races
that he took part in.
He won the Peter Bussey Memorial Trophy Trial Stakes on 4th February at Crayford over 540 metres by clocking the distance in 33.46 seconds and led by two and a half lengths.
Risky Rosaleen was the 2/1 favourite runner up of the race and was soon followed by Clonlost Snoopy.
On 11th February, Bubbly Ebony came second even though he was entered as the evening’s favourite in the Peter Bussey Memorial Trophy – Heat 2 at Crayford over 540 metres.
The race was won by Boca Grande.
After finishing a miserable sixth, Bubbly Ebony won the Gala Coral Stayers on 24th February at Romford over 575 metres. The 6/4 favourite winner covered the distance in 35.66 seconds with six and a half lengths under belt.
Risky Rosaleen was yet again the runner up after timing the distance in 36.18 seconds.
Bubbly Ebony then came third in the Coral.Co.UK Stayers on 2nd March at Romford over 575 metres after taking 35.91 seconds to complete the trip.
Aero Joker was the 5/4 favourite winner of the race with Holy Ground closing in for the second position.
The third heat of the Coral On TV Stayers Trophy was claimed by Bubbly Ebony on 19th March at Romford over 575 metres. He reached the other end of the wire in 35.42 seconds.
The 11/10 favourite of the race, Hugo You Go, was the runner up.
The most recent race and the last victory till yet was in the Coral On TV Stayers Trophy Final at Romford over 575 metres on 23rd March.
The 7/4 favourite winner, Bubbly Ebony was through the track distance in 35.96 seconds and led by two lengths.
Bubbly Ebony is leaping in for a hat trick today.
