Bubbly Phoenix and Be Real joint favourites for the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby Heat 1

Bubbly Phoenix and Be Real are expected to fight for victory in the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby Heat 1 at Monmore in England on Thursday, March 1, 2012. The prize money for winning the 480 metres event is £175.
The bookmakers have given the best odds to Bubbly Phoenix, who has been displaying some solid performances over the past few months. He managed to set an extremely good time in a trial at Monmore recently and looks good to take the top position today.
P. Young’s trained dog was victorious at Monmore in all his previous outings, which suggests that he has no problems running on this track. The punters will be placing a lot of bets on the favourite greyhound today, as he seems to be unmatchable at the moment.
The white and black dog, tipped to win today, is the son of College Causeway out of Droopys Top Gal and was born in April 2010.
On the other hand, Be Real is also not much behind the race favourite, as he has been doing a decent job over the past few races. He was victorious in his last race at Monmore and has the potential to repeat such a performance again.
Other than doing well at Monmore, Be Real has performed exceptionally well at other venues, which means that he has the momentum to shine today. He is the son of Droopys Maldini out of Droopys Bridie and was born in May 2010.
King Phil, trained by E. McNair, might also manage to finish amongst the top three today. He has been quite consistent over the past few months and has scored a hat-trick of victories in his previous three outings.
The white and black dog has not raced at Monmore, but he set a decent time trial at the venue on Saturday, February 25, this year. This will encourage the punters to place more bets on him today.
King Bradley, Farloe Spitfire and Droopys Brogan are the remaining three runners, who will be trying their luck at Monmore. However, things will not be easy for them at all, as the top three favourites seem to have the best chances of winning.
