Bubbly Romeo in control of the RGOA Members Trophy Race on 29th February at Romford
The Grade A6 RGOA Members Trophy Race is to be held on Wednesday, 29th February at Romford over 400 metres. The six hounds entered will reel in for the wire in order to get entitled to the £107 prize money.
Bubbly Romeo, Bubbly Totti’s two-year-old white and brindle son out of b***h Bubbly Venus, has started his racing career this season only. He has made ten career starts, having won three and been placed in the remaining ventures.
His debut victory surfaced on 17th January, when he won a 400 metres race at Romford. He clocked the track distance in 25.35 seconds, leading by 1 ¾ lengths and cornering Dinky Doris into the second position.
On 16th February, Bubbly Romeo won the Grade A8 400 metres flat race at Romford. The 2/1 favourite of the race went through the distance in 24.81 seconds. Vipar Sleek was second in line behind the winner while Greenfield News finished third.
His most recent win was in the last start that he made. He won the Grade A7 400 metres race on 23rd February at Romford. Bubbly Romeo clocked the distance in 24.88 seconds and led the field by 1 ¾ lengths. The 9/4 favourite of the race, Swift
Ellie, finished the race in the end.
Bubbly Romeo’s victory in his eleventh start is almost inevitable if he keeps a firm grip on the quality of performance that he has been displaying through the course of the two months.
Bouncing Molly, Flying Penske’s four-year-old white and brindle daughter out of b***h Creamery West, is also one of those hounds who has recorded a win recently.
She first won a Grade A7 400 metres race at Romford on 2nd February. She covered the track distance in 24.69 seconds, leading by 2 ¾ lengths. Bouncing Molly was entered as a 3/1 joint favourite and she cornered the other favourite, Bargain Brat,
into the second position.
After winning the next start, Bouncing Molly bumped into a sixth position but made most out of a Grade A6 400 metres flat race on 25th February at Romford. She was on the other end of the wire in 25.21 seconds, leading the 7/2 collective favourite,
Alrita Sky, by a head’s difference.
