Bubbly Rossie out to surprise Droopys Hope in Nottingham’s Caffreys Puppy Classic - Heat 1
Bubbly Rossie was one of the finalists in the Wimbledon Puppy Derby, and has reached Nottingham with aim to present an even better show in Caffreys Puppy Classic, getting started on Monday, August 13th.
Heat 1 will see him locking horns with five speedy hounds including Droopys Hope, Ballymac Floreck, Jaytee Swaby, Samar Suzy and Norman Dynasty. The 500 metres competition is due to get underway at 19:52 GMT.
Bubbly Rossie showed a few very good performances before losing his rhythm in the grand finale. The brindle dog made his Wimbledon debut with a couple of trial-race victories over Jaytee Viper.
He did well to ensure the runner-up spot in the opening two rounds of the Puppy Derby, but could not continue the good work in the big meeting, because the pressure was huge on him.
Despite the fact that P. Young’s charge is running at Nottingham for the first time, no one can expect him to get nervous. His confidence would be at a high after running well in the Wimbledon battle. Except Droopys Hope, no hound is likely to make things
tricky for Bubbly Rossie.
Droopys Hope is being considered as one of the favourites for the Classic. Since the black b***h is not facing a strong opposition, it is a good chance for her to make an ideal start to her campaign.
G. Oswald’s b***h knows this track very well, as she recently made a couple of good outings here. Ace Hi Rumble’s daughter was runner-up only by three quarters of a length last time.
Ballymac Floreck was awful on her Nottingham debut earlier this month. The brindle b***h, D. Draper’s trainee, could only beat the back marker on her first outing here, and an embarrassing defeat would have dented her confidence. Taking an early advantage
after stepping out of the red box is the only way out for her.
Samar Suzy is not in good shape these days. Norman Dynasty is swimming against the ride in this company. Jaytee Swaby will need to improve upon his trial time of 30.71 seconds.
Bubbly Rossie needs to avoid crowding in order to get the better of Droopys Hope. A dramatic clash between the two hounds is on the cards. Good luck to all the runners.
