Bubbly Rossie to build on fresh success to thrive in Gold Cup 3rd Semi Final at Henlow
The bettors have a very difficult decision to make at Henlow, where Blackrose Eve and Bubbly Rossie, both carrying the highest odds of 7 to 4, will meet in the third semi-final of the Gold Cup on Thursday night.
According to our calculations, the punters should go with the second one. Bubbly Rossie’s finishing time in the first round of the championship was 33.62 seconds – slightly better than Blackrose Eve.
The brindle dog maintained the highest standards of speed and stamina. After leaving the fourth trap, he was quickly away. P. Young’s dashing trainee stayed ahead all the way through, and eventually clinched the first place by three lengths.
He has been performing quite consistently over the past few weeks. Ahead of his fresh strike, he was runner-up in two straight races. There is nothing wrong with his current form, and it will be no surprise, if he comes out on top.
The main danger is Blackrose Eve, who showed right attitude in the first round. A flawless effort helped her win the battle easily by three and a quarter lengths.
Winning two of the last four races shows how good form the black b***h is in. Although the draw is comparatively in her favour, her chances are not more than Bubbly Rossie.
Besides the aforementioned pair, there are four quality hounds in the pack. Their names are: Darian Chief, Bestofthehawks, Curragh Kewell and Viking Cheryl.
As per the schedule, the 550 metres contest will be commenced at 21:32 GMT. The winner of this event will get not only a place in the decider, but also a prize of 150 pounds.
Darian Chief does have a decent make-up on the trials. However, his latest act was not good enough to believe that he can dominate the proceedings in this contest. Bestofthehawks must encounter any significant early moves in order to shine. Viking Cheryl
finished well in the heat, but could arrive too late here.
The real contest remains between Blackrose Eve and Bubbly Rossie. The latter’s actual running time was slightly better than his opponent last time; therefore, he should be preferred. Good luck to all the participants.
