Bubs has cold and is hot, is it due to teething?

My son is 6mos old, and definitely can tell hes teething.

Since he woke up this morning, hes had a runny nose and watery eyes and keeps being very sick, hes threw up about 6 or 7 times today and its proper sick.

Is this due to him teething? Or is it something else.

I've been using Snuffle babe vapor rub and putting it on a bib next to his chair and have gave him a little calpol, i don't see any working though.

What you you put this down too?
