Buck Magic expected to cast a major winning spell in the Betfair Supporting Greatwood Handicap Hurdle
Newbury is hosting the Betfair Supporting Greatwood Handicap Hurdle, on 3rd March, 2012. The 14 runners will be competing over a distance of 3 miles and 110 yards for the purse of £5,848.

Buck Magic, son of Albano, out of Green Sea, finished in 3rd place in his seasonal debut.
The 6-year-old gelding was defeated by Lovcen and Volador, in the Bathwick Tyres Yeovil Handicap Hurdle, at Wincanton, on 18th February, 2012.
This was his first race since 18th November, 2010. He bagged the victory in the South West Racing Club Novices’ Hurdle, at the same venue. He defeated race favourite Vico by ½ length.
He was previous trained by Patrick Rodford but his current trainer is Keiran Burke. Burke is hoping that Buck Magic will be able to secure a win today.
Cinderella Rose, the 6-year-old mare, emerged victorious from the closing race of 2011.
The daughter of Midnight Legend, out of Miniature Rose, defeated Twin Bud by a neck, in the ToteQuadpot Mares’ Handicap Hurdle, at Plumpton, on 5th December, 2011.
Her trainer, Kim Bailey, is hoping that she will exceed expectations with this performance.
Godsmejudge, son of Witness Box, out of Eliza Everett, triumphed in his last race of 2011.
He finished 1st by defeating Hunters Lodge by 12 lengths, in the Williamhill.com Novices’ Hurdle, at Huntingdon, on 26th December, 2011.
Trained by Alan King, the 6-year-old gelding, finished as a runner-up in his seasonal debut.
He finished 21 lengths after Bellflower Boy, in the Whites Of Coventry Scrap Metal Processors Handicap Hurdle, at Warwick, on 26th January, 2012.
Tarvini, son of Kalanisi, out of Tarwila, is looking to complete a hat-trick with this race.
He finished ahead of Iris’s Flyer by a head, in the Racing UK Handicap Hurdle, which took place at Huntingdon, on 30th October, 2011.
Under the training of Jonjo O’Neill, the 7-year-old gelding continued to excel. He defeated Jewelled Dagger by 23 lengths, in the Countryside Alliance Handicap Hurdle, on 25th November, 2011, at Doncaster.
Blazing Buck, son of Fraam, out of Anapola, has yet to prove himself on a racecourse of this distance.
He finished as a runner-up in the last race of 2011.
He was defeated by Radetsky March by 6 lengths, in the E.P.S Handicap Hurdle, at Ffos Las, on 21st December, 2011. The track covered a distance of 2 miles and 4 furlongs.
Benbens, son of Beneficial, out of Millicent Bridge, also emerged as a runner-up from the concluding race of 2011.
He was defeated by Fox Appeal by a short-head, in the Peter White Memorial Handicap Hurdle, at Taunton, on 20 December, 2011.
Buck Magic looks like the strongest competitor in this race. He is likely to acquire a finish in first place.
Cinderella Rose may gain the lead and land ahead of Buck Magic as she has been in terrific form.
Benbens may secure a finish in third whereas Tarvini might finish in second place.
