Buckfast Kid likely to upset Billymatt in Coral Sprint
Buckfast Kid will definitely be a strong contender for winning the Coral Sprint at Romford in England on Friday, November 2, 2012. He has got an impressive speed and will look to make the most of his starting position today.
The Grade OR contest has attracted some highly talented greyhounds, who will be fighting over 225 metres in order to bag a cash prize of £175 in the end. Such events always get the attention of the spectators and same will be the case at Romford, where the
stare of action will be eagerly awaited.
Although, all of the runners have been trained well by their respective teams, yet the real competition is expected to be amongst Buckfast Kid and Billymatt. Both have got a lot of potential and will be competing against the best in the business in the years
to come.
The latter of the two greyhounds has been rated as the favourite to succeed. He is expected to be dominant, thus the bookmakers have given him a general starting price of 15 to 8. He will definitely get the attention of the punters, as his performances in
this class have been up to the mark.
The M. Wiley’s trained hound started off his career with a few training sessions and did really well in them. It was pretty much clear that he had the ability to battle at the highest level, thus he was sent into Grade OR contests straight away.
He did not disappoint his team and performed brilliantly in this class, despite the fact that he was not given very good odds for victory. He was priced 6 to 1, but finished as a runner up in the end by a couple of lengths.
This run was so impressive that the fawn dog continued to represent his team in this class over the next many events. He did struggled on a few occasions, but kept on getting better with the passage of time. He was victorious in his previous two OR encounters
and will be chasing a hat-trick today.
The only greyhound who can stop him from achieving this feat is, Buckfast Kid. He will enter the race from trap number one and will look to blaze away with a win in the end. He has finished as a runner up in his previous three outings and will be looking
to break the shackles this time around.
