  1. I don't see why not.  Bud is a pretty mediocre beer to begin with, whereas Belgium makes some of the greatest beers in the world.  So I see this as a possible benefit in the long run.

  2. If you like a beer, who cares where it comes from or who owns it?

  3. I have to save my favorite common american beer was Bud/Michelob family. And the fact that its a Belgian brewing company thats going to own them now, only makes it better, because Belgium has some of the finest beers in the world.

I can't wait for them to come out with the additional product line.

  4. Anyone who buys AB products from here on out probably owns a Toyota as well.

I'll do business with Pabst. American owned, American made, and proudly stamps "union made" on their cans.

I say keep this first rate company in business while we still can.

  5. Never much of a Bud drinker and I don't intend to start.

  6. I just had this conversation yesterday at a BBQ and all 20+ people attended are going to boycott the beer now that its going "UnAmerican". The taste, the bottling and all the rest will be the same so as far as drinking for taste - sure, no big changes obviously. But for those who drank this because it was an AMERICAN Beer out of the Midwest, it represents SELLOUTS

    I won't drink it :(

  7. what will you Switch to Miller who owned by South Africa SABMiller or Coors which is owned by Canadian Molson Coors Brewing Company under MillerCoors a merger of SABMiller and Molson Coors Brewing Company, so it getting to the point if you want to drink American drink beer from microbrewerys or even better brew your own

  8. I love all beer.  I will continue to drink and serve whatever is put in front of me.

However,  The largest American brewery left is The Boston Beer Company....the maker's of Sam Adams.  So If I am headed to a party where I am in need of drinking an American beer.  I'm going with Sam Adams.

  9. still drinking that stuff it stinks,      European beer is the best {not British lagar tho its crep ] ..........kronenbourg ect... is nice ...bud is wat you drink when your like 16

Belgium beer is the best like hoegarrten ,or try  Cheq or polish

    .

  10. Brian you answered your own question.

Why get our panties in a twist.

Because so many of Americas' beloved corporations are no longer American. It is the "change" that no one likes. We get comfortable with certain things and beer drinkers are fiercely loyal. In times of recession economist have found beer is the last thing (if at all) people give up. And when it is beer that-was close to you, important in things we do (AM. Football sponsor etc.)  it hurts. It is also the pending doom (LOL) of globalization of things that were once unique to a nation.

The Aussies reacted the same when an American company bought Fosters. The Mexicans the same when A-B bought 50.2% of Groupo Modelo (makers of Corona). It is just a shame. Bright side, we still have the craft beers.

  11. I never liked budweiser products in the first place so I could care less!

  12. never did to begin with, all I drink is local micobrews. That's real American beer. Bud is that most tasteless of all the big American brews.

  13. Never really drank Bud anything - i could care less really...however i seem to think that Bud fans will be somewhat upset about this...

  14. we'll i guess i am switching to coors.  you comi b******s

  15. It beats  Heineken

  16. Most of what you drink is already owned by foreign companies, including a number of Bourbons and a whole lot of wine.

InBev isn't going to change the production of Bud, so why get your panties in a twist?
