  1. Buddhism is good for your physical life.  It is a great philosophy and practice; however, it is of no benefit to your spirit.  Buddhism does not address how to return back to the spiritual world where we once were from before we sinned against God being decieved by Satan.

If you want to know how to return back home, then second coming Christ has come and has revealed all truth in the Bible.

  2. Buddhism is a deeply personal experience. If you need answers, then you need to seek them from within, not from without.

  3. Try to read the quran and you will see the difference

  4. Buddhism is fundamentally a practice tradition, not a belief tradition. It's about doing, rather than knowing.

Because of this, the benefits described by generations of Buddhist teachers are best cultivated through practice -- meditation, chanting, bowing, study, etc.

As we engage in these practices, habitual mental patterns reveal themselves and we experience directly the many ways in which we create suffering for ourselves and others. (This experience is not abstract or psychological -- we actually *get* it.)

And, as we experience ourselves in this way, an interesting thing happens -- we begin a transformation into a different kind of person.

As people practice -- I've seen it over and over -- they develop wisdom, compassion, creativity, generosity, curiosity, kindness and other qualities that this world so desperately needs.

Over time, as practice deepens, students may experience a complete transformation, a liberation from the small concerns of self-absorption. The name for this is enlightenment.

An excellent book on the basics of Buddhism is "It's Easier Than You Think" by Sylvia Boorstein. This short book connects this ancient tradition to modern life -- with wisdom, warmth, and wit.

But please understand that the conceptual framework of Buddhism (the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path, etc.) needs the support of steady practice to become realized in daily life.

  5. On page #7 in the Zhuan Falun book available for free download:

"Shakyamuni also talked about there being 84,000 disciplines for cultivating Buddhahood. But Buddhism has only a dozen or so disciplines, like Zen, Pure Land, Tendai, Huayan, and Tantrism. They don’t cover the entire Buddha Law. And besides, Shakyamuni didn’t preach all of his Law, he just selectively preached the part of his Law that the people back then could grasp."

The Buddhist teaching was written down in many scriptures and there are scriptures in each discipline.

"Zhuan Falun" is the main scripture for Falun Dafa.  Check out the source URL if you want additional information about the Buddhist belief.  Not part of Buddhism, Falun Gong is a unique Buddhist School, teaching an ancient practice for the body, mind, and spirit based upon the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. Falun Gong consists of five sets of powerful exercises.

Falun Gong, Tibetans, other Buddhists, and Christians have been persecuted in China. The most offensive human right violation is the organ harvesting from the Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Can you kindly sign a petition to stop persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, please ?
