Budget Help??? Yea..im 14?

Question

okay i might be making about 700-800 over this summer. i need to get new clothes(really) and a cell phone. some of the money has to go into my savings account.

how do i go about budgeting that??

You write down a list of what you want. You find out the prices of those items. (not the sale prices) You figure out how much you will make and how much you want to save. Say you make $800 and you want to save $100 and save $50 for a cellphone. Put $100 in the bank and don't touch it. Put $50 aside and buy the cell phone with it. Take a look at the list of things you want and figure out how much it will cost. The total (including all taxes, etc.) cannot exceed $650. If your total is more then $650, decide what you want or need the least and take it off the list. Repeat until your total is below $650.

Also, don't forget to include how much you will need to pay for your cellphone plan.
