Budget Honeymoon Ideas!

Question

I have no idea where to go on my honeymoon! We both live in Texas and were thinking of either going to Dallas or San Antonio, BUT would love to go somewhere we have never gone before, something exotic or adventurous and romantic, you know the typical honeymoon cliche. There is a catch though... we are both BROKE! I don't want to spend over $1,500 on a vacation! After all we are spending thousands for a one night party (our wedding) and we won't have any left afterwards. The wedding is next summer, so we are both saving up now, but I know we won't have enough for that "dream honeymoon."

Any ideas?

San Francisco, CA might be within your price range. If you can get cheap Airlines tickets out here, hotels are not too shabby, the city is BEAUTIFUL and there is so much to do here.

Just search online and you can find great deals sometimes  like an all inclusive resort in cancun! Try www.bookit.com or use a travel agent so you can make payments on it.

Do something near by that you have never done before or look into National parks that you can drive to.  Some of them are breath taking.  You can always go on that dream honeymoon on your 1 year aniv.

Save on Hotels, spend on food and tours.

Go for the gator buffet or the country music sounds.
