  1. About 250 baht.

  2. You can get 100 baht per night per room at Khao San Rd.

    Check it out.

  3. Price of budget hotels usually less than 800 baht (US$23)

    Get Here! http://www.ThailandHotelsDestination.com...

  4. From Khaosanroad.com

New Joe Guesthouse 350 Baht ($10.50 US)

    Top Inn 330 Baht ($10)

The Green House 295 baht ($9US)

Chart Guesthouse and Restaurant 250 Baht ($7.50US)

www.hostels.com  Some of these may be up to 12 people in a room

    Sinad Guesthouse 210 baht ($6.30US)

New Road Guest House 137 baht ($4.10US)

There are many many more just depends on what your willing to put up with.  No hot water, shared bathrooms, byo toilet paper, 12 people to a room.

  5. Not everyone has the same price in mind for a "cheap" hotel.  My value for "cheap" is a private room with hot water and air under $25, I usually plan on something around 400/600 baht per night.

There are many hotels/hostels in Bangkok from 100 baht on up to over 4000 baht per night.  You get what you pay for!  If you only want a place to sleep and you don't mind sharing a toilet and shower with lots of other thrift minded tourists, a place having only cold water showers under 200 or 300 baht will do.   If the management doesn't provide security box storage in a cheap "dorm" style place you have to take your valuables with you all the time or take a chance that your roommates won't rip you off!

But, if you want your own room, with a little more privacy and security (you won't have to worry so much about your fellow bunk mates ripping you off like in shared lodging) then a cheap hotel room with fan cooling and probably cold water will probably be okay.   Pay a little more an and you get hot water and air conditioning.

Other smaller cities, like Pattaya will have cheaper hotel prices.

Before you leave on a trip figure out how much you can afford per night for a place to sleep and then choose a hotel/hostel to fit that budget.

    Good luck.
